Does the treatment hurt?
Most patients describe it as uncomfortable but well tolerable — similar to a warm rubber band snap. The Clarity II's integrated contact cooling reduces the sensation noticeably.
Which skin types is Clarity II suitable for?
Clarity II is a dual-wavelength laser (Alexandrite 755 nm & Nd:YAG 1064 nm) and can be adapted to all skin types Fitzpatrick I–VI — including dark or tanned skin.
Can I get treated in summer?
Yes. Unlike many classic devices, Clarity II allows year-round treatment. Heavy direct sun exposure immediately before and after a session should still be avoided.
How many sessions are needed?
Typically 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart, depending on zone, skin and hair type. Occasional maintenance sessions may be helpful afterwards.
Who performs the treatment?
Sessions are performed by trained medical laser assistants under physician supervision at Praxis Dr. Wagner.
When is laser treatment not suitable?
Among other things: acute skin conditions in the treatment area, certain medications, pregnancy, or very light hair (blond, white, grey). Suitability is assessed individually.
